John E Cab moved to Texas a few years ago and we were having trouble doing the “send files via email” thing to work on beats together. When he would come home, we would chill and attempt to make music, but always ended up getting being semi productive. So, back in like December, or something like that, we decided to head to Low Gap, NC where some of his family is from. We spent the weekend at his Granny’s house, that was currently unoccupied. We brought all of our gear, crates of records, various intoxicants and set out to make beats…..LAMBSBURG was created during these 3 days. We had a great time in a beautiful, remote part of the country covered in mountains and open fields. Cant wait to share this with people. It truly represents a period of time for Us Natives.
